Construction and building-services project management

Some project owners are investors without the technical expertise or team needed for execution. Under a management contracting agreement, Aftabgoon can take responsibility for managing execution and overseeing the contracted work, from following up and overseeing initial designs to purchasing materials, entering into subcontract agreements and overseeing subcontractor performance, on the client's behalf and within the authority granted by the contract.

This service includes planning, coordination and follow-up between the client, designers, contractors and suppliers. Documentation status, pending decisions and work progress are recorded to support clearer project management.

Specialist design, supervision or execution subject to professional requirements must be carried out within the contractual scope by appropriately qualified parties.

The management contracting fee is calculated as a percentage of the project's total execution costs through completion and provisional handover. The percentage and calculation basis are specified in the contract.

Frequently asked questions

Does this management contracting service include project execution?

Yes. Under the management contracting agreement, the management contractor organizes and manages the contracted work on the client's behalf, using funds provided by the client, and takes responsibility for completing that work within the agreed contractual obligations. This service is not limited to advice or reporting.

Can this help a project that is already delayed?

Yes. Actual status, obstacles and pending decisions are reviewed first, followed by practical actions and their potential implications for the remaining work.
